The film was released on 26 December 1929 in Denmark. / Silent film, with talking sequences, synchronized music and sound effects.

Survival status: Prints exist in the UCLA Film and Television Archive film archive [with only the last five sound discs extant — Vitaphone-1-4 states that all of the Vitaphone soundtrack discs survive]; and in the Mary Pickford Institute for Film Education film collection [16mm reduction positive].
