Survival status: Prints exist in the Library of Congress film archive [35mm nitrate camera negative [incomplete, with advanced nitrate decomposition], 35mm nitrate positives [21 reels (incomplete)], 16mm reduction negative, 16nn reduction positive]; in the UCLA Film and Television Archive film archive; in the Museum of Modern Art film archive [35mm positive (incomplete, approximately 1000 feet); and in private film collections [16mm reduction positives (feature version)]. Six of the soundtrack discs are presumed lost (chapter 1, reels 1 and 2; chapter 3, reels 1 and 2; chapter 7, reel 1; and chapter 9, reel 2).
