Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? After the death of his royal brother, Otto, ambitions for power, immediately plans to do away with the baby prince, who has been placed in his care. He accomplishes his purpose in a fiendish manner. The death of the little prince causes great sorrow throughout the castle. His little sister is heartbroken, and prays long and often for the return of her brother. One evening, during the prayer, an angel appears, and. taking her by the hand, leads her to the family vault. There the figure of Christ is visible, who, after opening the tomb, gives the living body of the baby prince into the arms of the angel, and then vanishes. The angel and the little girl carry the child into the chapel and place him in the crib surrounded by the sacred statuary. Then the princess runs to tell her mother the good news. The doubting mother decides to follow her and reaches the chapel just as Otto’s coronation procession is entering in triumph. The marchers are astounded at the sight of the living child, and all except the wicked Otto join with the delighted mother in loud rejoicing at the miracle.
