John Wayne’s appearance is unbilled and apparently does not appear in surviving footage, and he is reputed to also have worked as a prop assistant and a goose herder. The film was rereleased 21 October 1928 with a Movietone synchronized music and sound effects soundtrack; the footage of Neil Hamilton singing the title song may have been shot exclusively for the sound film rerelease. / Silent film.
