Reviews: [Variety, 26 January 1907, page ?] A well-sustained series. The action commences with a man and woman peering by turns through a telescope. The scene changes to the peaks of the Alps, the field of ob-servation [sic] being round to represent the view from the telescope. The Alpine guides and tourists are shown making a difficult ascent. One of the party falls into a deep crack of the glacier and his frantic struggles to regain his friends are shown. A rope is lowered and his is dragged to safety. Interest is sustained throughout and the series is held together be frequent returning to the pair at the telescope where the happenings about to be shown are illustrated by the expressions of their faces. — Rush.
