Died 30 July 1943 in Brecon, Wales, United Kingdom.

Son of William Owen Nares and Sophie Marguerite Beverley.

Married actress Marie Polini, 1910; two sons; until Owen’s death, 30 July 1943.

Owen Nares began acting on stage in 1908. Motion picture work began in 1913 for Herkomer Films and continued until 1941 after having appeared in 45 documented films.
