Ward & Glynne’s Theatre was the largest theatre on Long Island. The theatre was sold to Prudential Theater Circuit in 1929 and the venue continued operation until the 1970s.
The theatre was sold to the United Artists theatre chain in 1980 and was converted into a three-screen venue but was eventually closed. The theatre is now operated as The Patchogue Village Center for the Performing Arts.
