Our first look at this NTSC DVD collection, originally produced for home video by Lobster Films, Paris, reveals a full-frame, natural-speed video transfers from very-good to excellent 35mm source prints. Tonal ranges are generally broad, with highlight and shadow details well-maintained in this transfer that looks great on standard and high-definition television equipment.

The films are accompanied by music scores by Éric le Guen and by Antonio Coppola, performed by the Octuor de France.

At first blush, we enthusiastically recommended this three-disc Jacques Feyder set.
