This budget DVD collection has all been transferred from 16mm reduction prints. Inexplicably, two episodes of the Hitchcock television series are counted as two of the 20 films in this low-budget collection.

The silent era films are presented with music soundtracks that have been compiled from preexisting recordings.

Notes and frame enlargements from this collection are available on the individual pages: The Lodger on home video; Easy Virtue on home video; The Ring on home video; The Farmer’s Wife on home video; Champagne on home video; The Manxman on home video; and Blackmail on home video.

The supplementary material includes a ‘documentary’ The Story of Alfred Hitchock in 16:9 widescreen (22 minutes) and a collection of Hitchcock film trailers (39 minutes).
