Our first look at this edition was quite favorable, with the disc mastered from 35mm materials held by La Cinémathèque française ranging in quality from very-good to excellent.

The film is accompanied by a music score by Antonio Coppola, performed by the Octuor de France.

The edition is accompanied by a 28-page booklet with an essay by Lenny Borger, with notes on the films of the collection.

We enthusiastically recommend this edition of Jacques Feyder’s Les Nouveaux messieurs.
