This DVD-R edition has been produced in collaboration with USC School of Cinematic Arts Hugh M. Hefner Moving Image Archive from the surviving 35mm prints of chapters one, two, three and eight.
The presentation features a new musical accompaniment and sound effects.
The disc is supplemented with a music video of the original song “Zudora” newly recorded and sung by Tom Baust, and chapter eight of The Ventures of Marguerite (1915).
While this DVD has not been reviewed at this time, we encourage the support of the Serial Squadron who is responsible for many fine home video editions of silent and sound serial films.

This DVD-R edition at this DVD-R collection of surviving Thanhouser films that have been mastered from prints held by world film archives. The full-frame video transfers range from very-good to excellent, from 35mm print materials. In many cases, these films have been mastered from the sole known surviving prints.
The film is accompanied by a music score composed and performed by Ben Model on a Miditzer virtual (computer-based) theatre pipe organ.
