Synopsis: [The Moving Picture World, 25 July 1914, page ?] Jim Cameron becomes desperate at his failure to get work, and resolves to hold up the stage in order to provide necessities for his wife and sick child, Mildred. Mrs. Cameron discovers him in the act of making a mask and pleads with him to give up the thought of such a thing. A $500 reward is offered for the outlaw, Andy Stiles, or any member of his gang. Anticipating a holdup of the richly laden stage, the sheriff plans to take passage on the stage in the disguise of a minister. Andy Stiles and his gang hold up the stage, but they are overpowered by the sheriff. Andy is injured and flees from his pursuers, taking refuge in Mrs. Cameron’s cottage. She is unaware that she is bandaging up the outlaw’s wounds and upon seeing the posse coming to her cabin, tells Stiles to run for his life. Stiles then reveals his identity to her. Begging her to remove the bandages, he shoots in the air and claims that she has captured him, thereby receiving the $500 reward. When the posse arrive they are surprised to see that she has been brave enough to capture Stiles. Jim comes home to find his financial problems solved by the $500 reward earned by his wife.
